ANTEFAS
is a small time breeding, established in 1975 when we got our
very first Pharaoh Hound, Int Nord CH LP Enigma Seschat-Ata.
Sandie as she was called was followed by an English import 1978,
Int Nord CHMerymut Marna, Flisan. All Antefa
PH:s of today are related to theese two ladies one way or the
other. In 1979 it was time for our first litter. This was the
beginning of the Antefa story.

We will introduce ourselves as
two sisters coming from a family were all sorts of animals was
a naturalt part of our everyday life. We were brought up with
apricot toy poodles, when it was time to find another breed for
the family, we came across the Pharaoh hound by coinsident - It
was love at first sight. We have been lucky to been involved with
the very best right from the start and our Pharaoh hounds are
the result of a careful and selectful breeding over the years,
working worldwide with exports, imports and AI litters. We belive
our Antefa Pharaoh hounds speaks very well for themselves.
Up to date our
breeding of seventeen Pharaoh hound litters includes over 40
homebred champions. Fourteen times the Top Pharaoh hound award
in Sweden went to a Pharaoh hound bred by us. We have also won
the Swedish PHC breed specialty fiftheen times with eleven different
individuals. We are especially proud and honored by our speciality
wins under legendary Pharaoh breeders such as late Mrs Pauline
Block, Twinley Pharaohs, Monica Still at the Merymut and late
Mrs Fran Niven of Serafin Pharaohs. We have bred four BIS winners
at sighthound / hound specialties (Sweden, Denmark, USA) and
one BIS winner at Swedish KC allbreed show. We have been the
Pharaoh breeder of the year in Sweden for twentieone year now
out of twentyfive year of breeding.
We do have a very clear picture what the Pharaoh hound breed
means to us and we will continue this exciting process we have
started without any compromising in breedtype, construction,
temperament or health.
